Applications may be submitted by any design professional or Woodwork Institute affiliate that was contractually tied to the project; however, project specifications must have required Woodwork Institute’s Certified Compliance Program™ or Monitored Compliance Program™. Each application must also include at least six high-resolution digital images of the project, an architect/designer’s statement, and a woodworker’s statement. At least one image should be 300 dpi at 30 inches wide and 20 inches tall.
Projects will be recognized for their featured architectural woodwork. The project that is granted the Bernard B. Barber Jr. Award for Excellence will receive a plaque and be promoted on the Woodwork Institute website and social media platforms. Award-winning entries become the property of the Woodwork Institute for unrestricted use. The Woodwork Institute assumes no responsibility for loss of or damage to materials submitted.
Applications can be submitted year-round and must be received by April 30, 2020, to be considered for the 2020 awards.
