In addition to our Quality Assurance Certification Programs, the Woodwork Institute provides useful services to the architectural community.
Certification Programs
The Woodwork Institute has two primary programs available nationally for the certification of projects. Both programs verify that the provided millwork meets the requirements of both the project specifications and the North American Architectural Woodwork Standards (NAAWS).
The Certified Compliance and Monitored Compliance programs inspect the shop drawing submittals and final installation. Monitored Compliance goes one step further to inspect the fabrication process. There is a separate California installation program that covers seismic requirements within the requirements of the California Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI). Here’s how to use our programs.
Other Services
The Woodwork Institute can provide Expert Witness, Independent Inspection, Site Compliance Inspection, and Shop Drawing Inspection services as needed.
