1. Payment Due: All payments for goods and services provided by Woodwork Institute (“Company”) are required to be paid in full at time of request prior to service.  If additional fees are required, they must be paid in full before release of certificate/inspection report.
2. Late Payment: Payments not received within 15 days following the completion of services will be charged a late fee of 5% of the total outstanding invoice balance.
3. Collection Costs: Should Company need to pursue collection efforts for any unpaid balances, Customer agrees to bear all costs of collection, including reasonable attorney fees, court costs, credit reporting and collection agency fees.
4. Dispute of Charges: Customer must notify Company in writing within 45 days of receiving the invoice if there are any disputes regarding charges. Failure to do so will be deemed as acceptance of the charges as invoiced.
5. Refunds: No refunds will be issued under any circumstances if a request for a refund is made after 60 days from receipt of payment.
6. Non-Compliance: Non-compliance of certification requirements by non-affiliates will result in a 20% service charge in addition to the invoice charges. Affiliates will be charged as outlined in the Programs and Services Manual.
7. Correction Fees: A $75 correction fee will be charged for any corrections required on certification/inspection requests due to improper or incomplete request submissions by Customer. 
8. Administrative fees: Administrative fees may be charged depending on the type of task and level of service required and will be determined based on the specific request.  Examples include expedited processing or priority service requests, specialized reporting, documentation, or research not included in standard services.  Customers will be notified of any applicable administrative fees which must be paid before the task is processed.

• 2.00% of any amount above $100,000 up to and including $500,000
• 1.50% of any amount above $500,000 up to and including $1,000,000

Expert Witness Service (EWS) & Independent Inspection Service (IIS)

• EWS: Witness fee of $1100 will be reimbursed if service is determined to be unnecessary. Remaining cost is for inspection.
• Base fee includes four hoursof ASR service time, up to two hours of travel or standby time fees, and all administrative processing.
• Time incurred beyond the base program allowance is billed at the hourly rate, noted in General Information.
• Travel, lodging, and meal expenses must be reimbursed in addition to these fees outside of CA, ID, NV, OR, TX, WA

Fees do not increase if project is delayed.

Correction fee of $75 will be charged on improperly completed Certified Compliance Program (CCP) Certificate and Shop Drawing Label Request.

Base fee

• Includes self-certification by an AMC for CCP (when licensed for all aspects of a project), and administrative processing time

Hybrid Fee

• Replaces base fee when:

▪︎ Specification requires an inspection by an Architectural Services Representative (does not allow for self-certification).

▪︎ AMC requesting certification is not licensed for all items, thus requiring an inspection.

▪︎ An AMC subcontracts any portion of the fabrication to a non-affiliated company, which requires an inspection, and the escalation to the hybrid fee.

• Fee has two rates contingent on location.

▪ Hybrid Region 1 = CA, ID, NV, OR, TX and WA (Architectural Services Representatives are based in these states) – includes up two hours of inspection time

▪ Hybrid Region 2 = All other U.S. locations – includes up to eight hours of inspection time and travel

• Inspections that exceed the allotted time will be billed at the hourly rate, including travel, lodging and meal expenses.
• Inspections for contracts that include multiple sites will be charged a hybrid fee for each site.
• Projects that are phased and inspected in multiple visits, but whose scope is under one contract, will be charged a hybrid inspection fee and are subject to a two-hour minimum charge per additional on-site inspection required, plus the cost of additional travel.

Sub-Sub Fee

• Fee added when an AMC subcontracts all or part of their contract to another AMC licensed for its part of the project (administrative fee).

Validation Inspection – This inspection is needed when non-compliant items are recorded.

• Additional on-site inspection: Minimum 2-hour charge

• Additional fees must be paid before release of certification or inspection report.
• Trip fee: If an inspection is scheduled, but upon arrival it is determined that fabrication and/or installation is not ready for an inspection, a trip fee (a minimum of two hours) will be charged.
