Woodwork Institute’s Certified Compliance Program™ (CCP) is an established quality assurance tool for millwork projects used in conjunction with the standards contained within the North American Architectural Woodwork Standards. The program, in use for more than 50 years, provides the assurance that your project will be done correctly.

  • Fabricators are held to the highest standards in providing the best product and/or installation.
  • The certified shop drawing review eliminates the need to check on fabrication details.

Accredited Millwork Companies (AMCs) that have met all the requirements can self-certify Certified Compliance projects only. They inspect projects built and installed to the North American Architectural Woodwork Standards. See Affiliation page for more information on becoming a licensed Affiliate.

Certified Compliance Specification Language

To request CCP certification, insert this language into the PART 1 — QUALITY ASSURANCE section of the millwork specifications:

PART 1 — QUALITY ASSURANCE

A. Certified Compliance

  • The woodwork supplier shall provide a Woodwork Institute Certified Compliance Certificate indicating the millwork products being supplied fully meet the requirements of the Grade or Grades specified.
  • At completion of installation, the woodwork installer shall provide a Woodwork Institute Certified Compliance Certificate indicating the products installed, and certifying that the installation of these products, fully meets the requirements of the Grade or Grades specified.
  • All fees charged by the Woodwork Institute for its Certified Compliance Program are the responsibility of the millwork manufacturer and/or installer and shall be paid before certificates are issued.
